Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Queriyo (the “Service”), available at queriyo.org and operated by Queriyo (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Queriyo lets you upload documents, embed an AI chat widget on your website, manage a lightweight CRM, and publish content to connected social and email channels. AI responses are produced by Claude (Anthropic) using your uploaded documents as context.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be 18+ or have your parent’s permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Use the Service to send spam, harass users, or distribute malware.
  • Attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of documents and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Fair use and overage. Each account includes a pooled fair-use allowance of 1500 conversations per client site per month — 1500 on Solo, 4500 on Studio and 15000 on Agency — shared across all your client sites, so a quiet site's unused allowance covers a busy one. Past the allowance the widget KEEPS ANSWERING: extra conversations are charged on your next invoice at £6 per 1,000 on Solo and Studio and £5 per 1,000 on Agency. We tell you at 80% of the allowance and again the moment you pass it, with the running amount. Nothing is ever billed past 2× the allowance unless you explicitly opt in to more of it: at that ceiling the widget pauses and waits for you, and we tell you why. You can raise the allowance at any time by moving up a tier. Conversations beyond the pooled fair-use allowance are chargeable at £6 per 1,000 conversations on Solo and Studio and £5 per 1,000 on Agency, billed in arrears on the invoice that follows the period in which they were used. We notify you at 80% of the allowance and again when the allowance is passed, stating the rate and the running amount. No account is billed for more than 2× its allowance in a period without your explicit opt-in: at that ceiling the widget pauses, and further chargeable use requires that opt-in, which is recorded.

In practice, that means: each client site includes 1,500 conversations a month, and the allowance is pooled across the account — 1,500 on Solo, 4,500 on Studio and 15,000 on Agency — so a quiet client site’s unused allowance covers a busy one. Past the pooled allowance the extra conversations are charged at £6 per 1,000 on Solo and Studio, and £5 per 1,000 on Agency, and they are billed in arrears on the invoice that follows the period in which they were used. We tell you when 80% of the allowance has been used and again the moment it is passed, with the running amount. Nothing is billed past 2× the allowance in a period without your explicit opt-in: at that point the chat stops answering and waits for you. Opting in lets it keep answering for that period, and the most that continuing can add is one whole allowance in overage — for example £37.5 on Agency. The opt-in is per period and can be withdrawn at any time; withdrawing it returns the account to stopping at the allowance. Partner plans are quoted per contract instead.

Set-up. Onboarding a client site is a one-time charge of £149 per client site, payable with your first invoice, and waived where you pay for a year up front. It covers reading the site, loading its knowledge, drafting the assistant and checking the install. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.

6. Third-party services

The Service uses Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, auth, storage), Anthropic (Claude), Voyage AI (embeddings) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI responses may be inaccurate; do not rely on them for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
